Tom’s rich and storied history in the stone and tile world dates back to his childhood, learning bricklaying and tile setting as his father’s apprentice. The capricious nature of stone and tile was the catalyst for Tom’s curiosity, and a career as a tile setter was born. In May of 1987, in an effort to maximize his installation efficiency and advance the popularity of marble in high-end residential bathrooms, Tom purchased a Terzago Bridge Saw, and United Marble Fabricators was born.
As one of the original stone fabricators in New England, Tom has guided United Marble through decades of industry development with the same unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship. Long considered an industry pioneer, Tom is internationally renowned for his wealth of technical and aesthetic wisdom of both natural stone and tile.
Tom takes pride in the fact that many of the people currently working in the Greater Boston area stone and tile industry began their careers at United Marble Fabricators.
