“It’s important to love what you surround yourself with everyday- your work, your friends, and your home. Ignore the trends; choose something YOU love, because you’re the one living with it!”

When her family built their home eighteen years ago from the ground up, Jessica was inspired by the process of building something from nothing. She watched as concrete was poured, walls were framed, tiles were laid and those raw materials were turned into a home. She played her part in helping to select everything from paint colors and flooring to furniture and lighting. Ever since then she has enjoyed seeing the transformation of spaces and feels a particular sense of accomplishment in making something old new again. Experiencing firsthand how projects begin from the ground up has provided Jessica with an understanding of how a home comes together and how important each detail is.

Jessica’s early experience with the building and design industry motivated her to pursue a career in interior design. After graduating from the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University, Jessica spent several years as an Interior Designer at a prominent Boston firm. From there, she transferred her design skills to the culinary world and started a cake decorating business. Although she still loves making beautiful cakes, she never lost her passion for home design. Jessica’s role at United Marble is to effectively translate a two-dimensional architectural plan into a three-dimensional reality by providing consistent communication between the architect, designer, contractor, vendors and homeowners.
